As a serial entrepreneur Michael has slowly been developing a business monarchy since the of age 16, starting out in vending machines, expanding into custom apparel, website development, and recently social media marketing and management. He is an active member in his local community, recently appointed Vice President of the Gem County Economic Development Association; former President of the Emmett Mayor’s and Commissioners Youth Action Council, as well as the current CEO of Educating Young Entrepreneurs Club (EYEclub).

Michael spends his spare time reading books on business, leadership, and personal development. He enjoys yo-yoing and has organized a club in his hometown of Emmett, ID where he teaches the local youth the sport and hobby of yo-yoing.

I was born in Boise, Idaho. From an early age, I expressed an interest in running a business. I met my business partner, CJ, during the third grade. In the seventh grade, we opened Black Storms Studios as a video game development company. Since then, it has existed in one of many variants. Two years ago, Black Storms Studios became a web design and development firm and we have stayed with that. In the future, we are looking at turning back to video game development, offering web development services as a method to finance the video game projects.

I enjoy programming in almost any language that is freely available, UNIX based operating systems, most kinds of music, and spending time with my friends.

I was born in Albany, Oregon and moved to Boise, Idaho in the third grade. I started a lawn care business in the sixth grade, which basically killed any hope of me doing something besides working for myself. Now I am the owner of Porter Productions, a media production company that specializes in high quality video production of weddings, commercial advertising, and live events. I'm also proud to be a part of Mountain View High School Broadcasting and Educating Young Entrepreneurs (EYEclub.)

I am heavily involved and committed to my church, my family, my business, broadcasting, and EYEclub. In my free time I keep mowing lawns, play guitar and piano, fish, snowboard, and go to movies with friends. I'm hard working, dedicated, loyal, moral, honest, and pleased with my life.
